While both of those have certain models that would determine very important features. I looked at the lowest end model for each and HP was better. So assuming that applies for each price group, I'd go with HP.

Can I get satellite through my internet?

AnswerThis is a very good question because the answer is unexpected. Satellites are often seen as high tech or fast. Many devices such as gps devices and some television is delivered via satellite. However, a satellite internet connection is the slowest and most expensive internet on the market. The slow speed is caused because satellites are used by many devices at any one time. They also are miles above the earth. Therefore, signals experience a lot of interference going to and from the satellite. The high price is cause by the fact that satellites in general are expensive to own. The fastest internet connection is a high speed fiberoptic broadband connection. That just means your connected to the internet by wires in the ground (and the date in those wires travels at the speed of light). This sounds very fast but its not fast when you realize everyone in your neighborhood who has the same internet provider is using that same connection.

Does internet run off of a satellite?

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but if you are asking if satellite Internet is available the answer is yes. If you are asking if you can watch TV and surf the web at the same time, the answer is also yes. With Dish Network and Google TV you can surf the web and watch TV all on your television.

How to Call Your Satellite Internet Provider for Fast Internet Access?

A quick call to your satellite Internet provider can ensure that you have Internet access that is always on, even if you live in a rural area. Some rural areas are unable to have cable Internet service or even DSL, but a satellite can deliver Internet access to places where others can’t go.You won’t notice the difference for the most part. Even if it rains or the wind blows, you won’t have to worry about your Internet service being compromised. Most likely, you will forget about the dish on the roof and you will enjoy uninterrupted Internet service. When you call your satellite Internet provider, you will choose a service plan based on how much you want to pay and how much bandwidth you think you will use. Most companies that provide satellite service require a one or two year commitment when you start service with them. The monthly price you pay will depend on how many people in your home have computers or how much uploading and downloading you plan to do.Your satellite Internet provider will be able to answer all of your questions as to how much bandwidth you will need and what your service plan provides. You will also be able to call technical support whenever you have a question or an issue and most companies that provide satellite service have comprehensive websites where you can get basic questions answered as well as detailed information about satellite service. You can use a router with satellite service and network several computers. If you have a laptop and want to be able to move around your home, you can still have the wireless capability with satellite Internet service. In fact, most of the time you will not be aware that you have satellite service instead of any other type of broadband Internet service. If it were not for satellites, many people in rural areas would not have access to the Internet but due to advances in technology, almost anyone can have an Internet connection, regardless of where they live. If you live in a rural area and have not had access to the Internet, call your satellite Internet provider today and see what you have been missing.

What technology can you use if cable or dsl is not available?

If cable or DSL are not available for Internet access, then you can use dial-up for low-speed access. For higher speed, you may be able to use mobile phone network access such as 2g or 3g. If that isn't available then satellite access is possible - although its usually expensive to install and run.

How many of each type of satellite are in orbit?

The question is asking the difference between broadband and dial up internet.?

Broadband internet is extremely faster and goes through either a satellite feed or a cable hookup. It is much more convenient because it also frees up your phone line.
