There is no formal position of leader of the gays. Gays have not elected any leader nor do they have any formal organization which could hold such elections. If they did, I would expect that Elton John would have the best chance of winning.

Answer 3: gay boys have always been allowed to participate in certain programs in the Boy Scout organization including "Learning for Life" program which includes Explorer Scouts. Answer 4: The Boy Scouts of America claims to respect and accept all religions and they require the leaders of each unit to attest that the scouts and other leaders uphold the tenents of scouting. The ban on gay leaders (they just now accept gay scouts) stems from the requirement that scouts be "morally straight". In my opinion, the only way to reconcile all of this, and truly respect all faiths, is to leave it up to each individual unit to define what is moral. Forcing any particular point of view fails to respect the others.
