Assuming by Moors, you mean the Moorish people. The Moors generally came from Morocco all the way to Sicily and Malta. Their influence spanned much of what is now Spain and Portugal.
the moors influenced the spanish with their legacy by dominating other countries and then the spanish would come along and follow those legacies because they are part of the same culture. but some of the spanish dissagreed with these legacies and went against them, and thats how it became an imperialist state
