on brass
Well i think bronze is made of about 90% copper and 10% tin. Brass is about 95% copper and 5% zinc. i could be wrong but i don't think so.
trumpets can be silver, brass, copper, or a mix of the metal.they honestly could be made of any metal, but those create the best sound.
You could try a hardware or DIY store or maybe wilkinsons Have you tried brown sauce I find this works well on copper brass and gold
If you have a copper float ball that will do it
homogeneous has no amount of magnification:brass has no magnification so yes, it is a homogeneous
Yes. For example, brass is a mixture of copper and zinc. A mixture of metals is called an alloy.
Red Brass piping schedule 40 with TP copper fittings and brazed joints Ans 2 - PEX piping with brass fittings is far more long lasting and cheaper to install than any copper - ( the above answer could only be from a plumbing company trying to drum up business )
They could be cupro-nickel, brass, silver, gold, copper, etc. It really depends. Be more specific (year, denomination).
This could be because brass (and other copper alloys, like bronze) are severely affected by "work hardening" which means the more they are worked (bent, beaten etc.) the more hard they become. This makes them prone to brittle failure.
There could be some different ways to answer, but I would have to say it would be copper.Brass is made from combining copper and zinc, while copper can also be an alloying agent for mild steel. However mild steel can have many different alloying agents in it.Carbon is the most prevalent in steel but there would be none in brass since it is a non-ferrous metal.
brass is an alloy a mixture of zinc and copper, this makes it much easier to shape into a door handle and it corrodes less. first question i answered yeah feeling smart :D and a tad gay that i could be bothered to type this yeah
Probably brass. Just like the saxophones, trombones, and the like. That's why directors call it the brass section. The inside of the trumpet, the valve part, is a slightly different material, able to slide up and down with just a touch of valve oil for lubrication. The keys, which is the part the trumpeter pushes down, are topped with a good looking material, usually ivory. Then you have the mouthpiece. Some, as I understand, are made of pure silver, but that could be a rumor. Certainly of a bright material resembling silver. Get in touch with Conn, the makers of brass instruments. Probably have a webside.
