a) If you are Hindu, you have an infinite amount of lives on earth, with reincarnation. This gives you ample time to try to be "good" to get into heaven.

(THE GOAL IN A HINDU'S LIFE ISN'T TO BE REBORN. IT'S TO REACH MoKSHA, WHICH MEANS HAPPINESS. BY THE WAY, JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE HINDU DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU GET AS MANY CHANCES AS YOU WANT, YOU'RE JUST LIKE THE NEXT GUY, YOU DO GET REINCARNATED ITS THE CREATE SYSTEM UNTIL YOU REACH ENLIGHTNMENT

(ALSO... THERE IS NO HEAVEN AND HELL. HEAVEN AND HELL IS RIGHT HERE ON EARTH. You make your own heaven and hell)

b) It is also nearly impossible to get in to hell unless you do something REALLY REALLY bad, or unless you convert from Hinduism.

(converting does nothing you do.. you're still you. When you convert to a Hindu, all you do is change your way of life)

Well, Hinduism aside from other religions is indeed one of the oldest, actually, it is the oldest religion. American texts tell you otherwise. Hindu's gave many aspects of God unlike other religions. There is only one god though. Hindu's worship God through sacrificing their time and dedicating it to God.

Differences from other religion or faith

1. Concept about God is same as all other religion, But the major difference on "where God is living or situated in the universe ?" , According to Hinduism it is in the soul of every living being/person , And in every were in the universe. The God is the power/energy, which can control very thing and God is the cause of every change. Scientifically it proved, the force/energy behind of the biggest "Solar-system" and the smallest micro system "Atom" has the same power, and it is very where in the universe. ( According to me this is the right thought and acceptable)
But according to other religion this is different, God is in heaven he never come to earth or near to living being directly.

2. So the method of prying God in Hinduism is an internal mental development process, for Hindus even if they use external idols for praying God, they have the understanding of God, it is a internal part of him in the soul. But in all other religion God is external and he is in heaven, there is no mental changes.

3. Hinduism teaches, how to improve your mental power/soul to attain the power of God. Since God is with you and it is an internal part of your body. But in other religion they don't know this fantastic great knowledge.

Hinduism always ready to accept right thinking (truth), that means it is not declaring any truth in the universe is a final one, according to Hinduism, all are possible to redefine or need to find out more better only God is real all other vital knowledge human have to understand from the universe or from God. But most of all other religion not accepting this concept especially Islam.

5. In Hinduism there is no sin - no need of fear the God. He always a Friend, Guardian, Mother, Father like positions given on worship. He will take care of all sin, if the devote may do any wrong thing unknowingly - The God is considered as teacher in "Bhakthi Yoga".

Here according to Vedas " Each person has his own religion to attain salvation, Since each person's capability is different", So it is correlated and generalized in Vedas as 4 Yogas(religion) - Kgnana Yoga(Attain God by Knowledge), Karma Yoga (Attain God by serve others), Bhakthi Yoga(Attain God by Pray) and Raja Yoga(Attain God by mental exercise).

But in all other religion they are trying to fear the disciples to keep quiet- authentic (unquestionable) attitude by the name of God and keeping a gap with all other thoughts and building boundaries, more over they (religion) only want dominant power on the disciples. According to Hinduism all disciples are equal to God, there is no special person - it gives complete freedom to all human being to practice this and can develop themselves to attain God. Here is no restriction of race, cast, religion and sex.

General concept

Hinduism is quiet natural and scientific way of attaining salvation. it gives total freedom of positive thinking to achieve salvation, By keeping this basic principle it can't reject any concept or religion which can give new ideas to achieve salvation.

Hinduism never against any religious/non-religious thoughts. It can accept all type of thoughts and always ready to modify, because of this any one can criticise even basic principle of Vedas, It gives the freedom and full right to do it, it never arguing this is the final truth (like scientific principles).

Hinduism is a accepted form of spiritual truth, which can re-modify a human to attain his complete form power (universal Power- GOD). So it should exist till the human exist in the universe. Since it is the only scientific way of approaching God.

If we consider Hinduism as a society, the right and wrong would decide according the acceptance and existence in the society. If any concept which would not be true, It should automatically reject by people or by the nature. Because of this strong understanding, it giving open stand for all thoughts.
