Your starter could be weak and need a rebuild.
Generally, .028" unless you have a weak stator or coil.
Sometimes a weak spark in an internal combustion engine can be caused by dirty spark plugs. It can also be caused by weak distributor coils.
Weak spark is most commonly caused by a weak ignition coil. The coil needs to be tested and replaced if necessary.
A weak spark can be caused by a faulty ignition coil, or perhaps bad spark plug wires.
my guess(es) are either 1 the spark plug is not holdng the full charge and may need a new one. 2 the starter needs attention or 3 it needs a good cleaning( do you take it through serious mud, does it leak oil etc....?
If the spark plug end (combustion chamber end) is coated with dry, black soot, it indicates weak spark or incomplete combustion. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean that the plug is bad; weak spark more often indicates a faulty coil or plug wire or, sometimes, an overfuelled cylinder.
Replace coil packs.
Achilles is a famous greek warrior and his only weak spot was his heel. that's why its called an Achilles heel. it means a weak spot.
Check the coil.
