I'm assuming since you say backfire it's carbed, so I'll also assume it's not computer controlled and has a standard hei or points distibutor. Hard starting and back firing are probably caused by over advanced timing. Try rotating the distributor.
It is going to run bad, be hard to start, no power, might backfire. Bring the crankshaft up to the timing mark and see if the distributor is pointing at the contact in the cap. Use a timing light on it.
Hesitation. Stumble. Backfire. Flooding. Hard cold start. Hard warm start. Poor idle. Poor mpg. Smell of fuel.
Poor maintenance and/or bad ignition coil.
No a bad muffler shouldn't, but a clogged catalytic converter will.
truck start shift is hard to move in gear
It is hard to start your own food truck because of the huge financial outlay required.
Maybe you worked your truck a little to Hard. EASE UP on driving just a bit.
you have backfire bacause you forgot to match wires with right cylinder
I have a 93 chevy pick up all I want is to hard wire the starter so the the truck will start with just wire straight from the starter to battery
It means it is very hard to start and keep running in cold weather.
Could be bad glow plugs.
its too cold
