Heterochromia.
The greater majority (around 98%) of all new born's are born with blue eyes. You really can't tell because genes are pretty random For the answer stated above, it is obviously only true for Caucasian infants of course. Almost all infants of African, Indian, or Asian decent would obviously be brown. But with regards to the original question, the answer depends on the genetics of the brown-eyed father. If he has two brown alleles, than most likely the baby will also have brown eyes. However, if the father has one brown allele and one blue allele (and thus phenotypically brown-eyed, as brown is dominant), it is certainly possible for the baby to have blue eyes (receiving one blue allele from the father, and one blue allele from the mother...if in fact the mother is blue-green hazel). Mendelian genetics, in this case, would approximate 25% of the babies to be born blue-eyed.
sure if theyr grand parents did Hmm...I don't think so. I think that brown is dominant over blue, so blue wouldn't be able to show up. But, most caucasian (white) babies are born with blue eyes, which then gain pigment and change color. I hope this answers your question! --A WikiAnswers user
No blue eyes are not mutated, but green eyes are, there are only three types of eye colour genes, brown-brown, brown-blue, blue-blue, most babies are born with blue eyes, blue eyes are not mutated,
Yes, because your genes have both dominant and recessive traits, so you may have 1 blue and 1 brown and your wife may have 1 blue and 1 brown and (and this is gross simplification) when your genes combine if even one of your brown traits gets passed onto the child it will have brown eyes.
Past theory was no, it is not possible. But that is the past. Better understanding is that genetically it is very possible. Real world example: My daughter has deep brown eyes. Her husband has deep brown eyes. The only people in there immediate families who have anything other than brown or brownish eyes are me, her husband's father, and my son and other daughter. Yet, their child was born with brilliantly blue eyes, that today, six years later remain the same brilliant blue. It is not only possible, it is quite probable. If the genes exist, they can manifest.
Everyone has blue eyes when they are born. Its just your natural color when you are born. Then when you get a little bit older, your eyes either change color like brown, hazel, green, Green-blue. Your eyes change color because of genes. And traits. But if your eyes were meant to stay blue from genes then your eyes are blue. Most people have brown eyes. Also blue too. Its not a very good chance you will get green-blue eyes.
Brown Blue and Green. Brown for his skin tone. Blue for the U.S naturally born. And green for the Mexican background.
Kittens are often born with blue eyes. They later change to brown.
No. Blue eyes in calves is a very rare genetic occurrence. Almost all calves born into this world are born with brown eyes, not blue.
no if they where born brown they stay brown
Usually, all puppies look like they have blue eyes when they are born, Their is a lot of Siberian Husky puppies that have blue eyes and they keep their blue eyes. Siberian Husky puppies can also have party color eyes blue and brown or one blue and one brown.

Of course the baby can have brown eyes!! Only 2 blue eyed people can have a blue eyed baby, any other eye colour is possible when 2 parents have different colour eyes.
Well, a dog is born with different color eyes and if it has blue eyes when it's born then that's nature or say it was born with brown eyes and it grew into blue eyes, then that's NATURE!
no, not everyone has brown hair when they are born, some people have blonde hair, some people have black hair and some people have orange hair when they are born.
there is no way to be certain until the baby is born, but my mum has dark brown eyes, my father blue, and i also have blue eyes.
