It's possible that it was wired wrong when the starter was changed. If you connect the small wires to the wrong place it will run, as you say, constantly.
IF it was functioning properly for a while and this is a NEW condition, it's probably the solenoid. If that's the case, just replace the starter since the solenoid is built in most of today's starters.
Yes two ways by constantly grabbing your starter and if its not shiny turn off the game and try again or constantly breed your evolved starter with a ditto until the baby is shiny.
It depends on how many times you run to the bathroom. It makes your stomach run constantly for atleast a week.
A starter will not disengage if the ignition switch is stuck or if the solenoid has jammed. This will cause the starter to constantly receive power.
I am breathing hard constantly when I run on my treadmill.
once it starts, the starter should disengage... after you release t he key. if it makes an awful noise while running, then maybe the starter is dragging... but if not then the starter will not cause it to stall
Either you have a poor electrical connection to your starter or the starter solenoid is going out and will not engage the starter gear to the flex plate/fly wheel on your motor.
You cannot find a starter in the wild.
Certainly. Once the engine is running the starter is not needed.
The starter is located just behind the top end of the engine. I have a '99 king quad. Mine solenoid clicks too. I thought it was a loose wire because sometimes it would turn over but I took it in and was told i need a new stARter. they run about $75.
No.
Turn it off
Either the ign. switch is faulty, or the starter is faulty Or the starter solenoid is stuck closed, so the starter is constantly engaged and getting voltage from starter relay. If so you would need to replace the solenoid.
