What materials would you need to prevent a home invasion?

Rather than just materials and equipment, go all out in preparing for a home invasion by having the following things:

1. Security door and solid front door. If you have two doors, a plank blocking the two from opening is wise.

2. A cell phone in each room of the home with speed dial to 911.

3. Thorny Bushes near your home's entrance ( The thorns can collect the invader's DNA sample or torn Clothes)

4. Bells on Doors, or a small, yappy dog.

5. A safe room that can only be unlocked on the inside! (Very important)

6. Keep an extra phone, gun, a flashlight or a glow-stick, ropes (just in case) in your 'safe room'

7. Equip your home with the best surveillance technology you can afford.
