Medieval people ate pretty much the same meats we do today, chicken, pork, beef, mutton and lamb, goat. Most meats were expensive, however, and only available to the wealthy. Wealthy people who hunted also had game birds, wild boar, deer, and so on.

Medieval people did not eat much meat unless they were well-off financially. Poor people ate mostly bread and vegetables. Rich people would eat whatever meat they hunted and raised, so game meat like deer and boar, plus chickens or rabbits. They also ate meats that today we think are "gross" like Songbirds (Blackbirds, sparrows, hummingbirds, etc).
