Well, it is not good to pour it down the drain because it can cause problems with your pipes. Some people keep something such as a coffee can and keep the grease there and let it accumulate and then dump it. I personally have a lot of land outside and about 3 1/2 acres so I just take my skillets outside and I have a specific spot that I just pour out my grease. It will kill your grass though!
