If the radiator fan does not shut off on a 1996 Chrysler Cirrus, the fan relay might be bad. The fan relay is usually located in a bank of relays near the battery.
Some vehicles have an engine continuence fuse in one of your fuse boxes. look on the back of the lid to see if your car has one it might be blown. change it if there is one and that might solve your problem
You might receive an electrical shock.
Are you sure you need to replace it? Is it a no-spark condition? Might want to check the Crankshaft Position Sensor first.
Check the dimmer knob. If that isn't it. Check your fuse. Might not be the problem, but it's a place to start
I don't know the answer to this but I am having the same problem with a 99 Chrysler Cirrus. Some one please help! The part you need is a Blower motor resistor, available at your dealer for about $25.00. Located behind glove box. Empty glove box, press in rear sides and let fall toward floor board. It is the Small rectangular box with 2 wire connections coming out of it. Remove wire plugs, remove two hex head screws, replace resistor, replace screws, replace wires, return glove box. Enjoy the multi-level blower. (This is for a 01 T&C, might be the same for Cirrus) Good Luck!
A broken timing chain is possible.
Sounds like it might be a bearing problem.
in some vehicles there is a swtch inder the break peddle that controls your breack lights it might not be making a connection
There are pages of items that will turn the check engine light on. You need to have the system checked for codes to know possible causes.
You can fix the horn on your 1998 Cirrus by first removing the center of the steering wheel cover by prying it off. Then, check for loose wiring or wires that are exposed which might be causing the horn to activate. Fix the loose wiring or exposed wires to solve the problem.
you have either a 2.5 or a 2.4 rarely a 2.0 . all have a belt. allways do the water pump and tensioner at the same time as belt at 100,000 miles. you might want to do it now because of age even if it has 1,000 miles.
