Calcium carbonate.
The snail will still grow even though it lives in an aquarium, so yes the snail will out grow it's current shell and need a new one.
The shell of a snail protects it from predators.
When it perceives a need for protection.
You are the snail and the shell symbolizes your "armour," your psychological defenses against emotional wounds. The dream illustrates your feeling that you need more protection.
I have discovered snail trails eaten into a degraded concrete pathway around a millimetre or so deep. I can only presume that by doing this, they aquire calcium for their shell.
Snails do not shed their shell their shell is apart of their body. A snail shell will grow with the snail. I currently have 3 snails but in spring i hope they breed! I know they dont need to mate but the type i have do.. ;) i hope i helped good luck if u have a snail... ;)
The only way I know of is to strip down the tank, sterilise everything and replace everything that can not be sterilised. A method of keeping snails under control is to have Clown Loaches or Puffer fish in the tank. They will seek out and eat the snails.
The Mystery Snail will crawl out of The tank and bite you, so get some gloves or something so it does not get slime on you.
fun snails
Well see i just found a snail today somewhat shut in my window. i wasn't sure if he/she would make it but i still put it in a secure area, ( like a plastic container of some sort and somewhat big) and put rocks to eat for it's shell nd leaves for food too. so it really depends. if it's hole shail came off, either kill it fr fast non painful death or keep it very very protected until it can grow it back.
All snails are neither male / female. they have both gender organs.
the way to make a mineral in general. well first you need to know what a mineral is. a mineral is usually a solid like metal, or wood, or ETC. a mineral could also be oxygen. yet the question is not what is a mineral but how to make it. well i suggest just breathing. its easy. you make carbon dioxide. is carbon dioxide not a mineral?
