∙ 13y agoAnswer: I am pretty sure iron is faster. Coal gives you more experience per unit, but it is also quite a bit slower to mine one piece of coal, than to mine one piece of iron.
Iron is faster earning 35xp per ore whereas coal gives 50xp, it is impossible to powermine coal earn at level 99 unlike iron.
