.50 drill bit = 8mm rubber grommet
by using a drill
For coarse threads (13 threads per inch) use a 27/64 drill
use a half inch drill
basically you need a pipe and a 1mm drill and you drill holes half an inch apart and place and plug up the end with something. make a hole on the end of your rubber cork and attach a gas pipe and fill it with the gas of your choice i suggest propane and light it
First of all it is the PCV valve and not PVC(the plastic). The PCV valve is located on the valve cover towards the front of the vehicle, nearly 4 inches from the oil dipstick. It is inserted in a rubber grommet on the valve cover and is connected to a hose about half an inch in diameter. Both the hose and the grommet are fitted to th PCV valve by merely pressing them in. First press the hose on the PCV valve then seat(press) the PCV valve into the grommet.
A 3/16 drill bit.
It should say half inch cobalt and inch after all the numbers.
The 3/8 drill is one eighth larger.
The body (as in thefoam's )outer diameter is half inch, the Velcro part with the rubber is close to 5 8ths of an inch.
They drill water wells, usually with a truck mounted 6 inch drill.
its about an inch and a half. It is in your valve cover (close to top) with a rubber hose on it.
Drill bits not only come in fractional number sizes they also come in letter sizes. The F size drill bit is .257 thousandths of an inch in diameter. A 1/4 inch drill bit is .250 thousandths of an inch in diameter, so size F is .007 thousandths of an inch bigger than a 1/4 inch drill bit.
