It will all depend on your engine/transmission and rear end gearing combinations and of course whether it's 2 or 4 wheel drive. As well as how well it is or has been maintained. But 2 wheel drive 5.0 Liter V8 w/AOD should get 12/16MPG, 2 wheel w/5.7 Liter and AOD 11/15, 2 wheel w/6.2 Liter Diesel and Automatic 16/22? 4X4's with 5.7 Liter V8 and AOD 10/15, 4X4's w/5.7 Liter and 4 speed low range manual 10/12 and 4X4's w/ 6.2 Diesel and Automatic about 15/20. these are all based on the half ton models, 3/4 tons with beefier rear gear ratios and heavier equipment will vary alot from these numbers though. As well with the 454/7.4 Liter V8 will vary. I know of one '87 3/4 ton Sub with the 7.4 Liter w/TBI and 400 Turbo hydra-Matic 3 speed that gets 15 MPG hwy. or about 7/8 city or when pulling a heavy loaded trailer.
