If the microphone has a USB plug, then plug it into the USB port on the computer. If the microphone has an audio plug, then plug it into the audio input port on the computer. If the microphone came with any software disks, then install those after plugging the microphone into the correct port on the computer.
I think the answer you are looking for is MICROPHONE JACK PLUG, meaning the plug/connection that fits into an amplifier or any output socket from the microphone itself. Hope this helps
you plug them in
A microphone is a source that sends an output to its male plug. A loudspeaker is a load and receives an input at its female plug.
Pull off the plug.
Pull off the plug.

The microphone. Because it is the gateway to your recording, your recording can be only as good as your microphone allows. While both are important, it is possible to get a good recording from a great microphone and poor recording unit, but the best recording unit can make only a poor recording from a poor microphone.
This isn't exactly the correct answer, but you can plug your headphones into where your microphone would be plugged in at (As long as it isn't headphones that plug into an USB port) and they would work as a microphone. (Download audacity if you want a good test of this.)
get a freaking microphone. get a karaoke or amp machine and plug the microphone in. Sing. That's all for today. (:)(:(
