The deltoid muscle forms the shoulder. It is made of three sets (heads) and also seems to have seven groups. The sets are:
1. The anterior deltoid are commonly called front delts.
2. The side ones are commonly called lateral deltoid or middle delts, outer delts, or side delts.
3. The posterior ones are commonly called rear deltoid or rear delts.
the muscle that surrounds both shoulders is called the deltoid muscle.
The deltoid muscle is the big muscle on the shoulder. It has three parts; the front or anterior, middle and back or posterior. It involves the shoulder joint.
There are only 3.The endomysium is the connective tissue that surrounds each muscle fiber (cell). The perimysium encircles a group of muscle fibers, forming a fascicle. The epimysium encircles all the fascicles to form a complete muscle.A tendon is a cordlike extension of the preceding three linings. It extends beyond the muscle tissue to connect the muscle to a bone or to other muscles. There are only 3.The endomysium is the connective tissue that surrounds each muscle fiber (cell). The perimysium encircles a group of muscle fibers, forming a fascicle. The epimysium encircles all the fascicles to form a complete muscle.A tendon is a cordlike extension of the preceding three linings. the endomysium surrounds the muscle cell
the antagonist of adduction is the pectoralis major
Shoulder external rotation
Shoulder extension is controlled by: Long head of the triceps, the last, and the teres major

none as the joint ca[sule is an inert structure meaning no contractile tissue

The deltoid muscle is located around the shoulder at the top. There is a deltoid muscle that is located on each shoulder.

The standing lateral raise primarily works the shoulder muscles.
The shoulder muscle that is considered the strongest supinator is the biceps brachii.
