Trunk curls are the only exercise which effectively isolate the abdominal muscles. All other abdominal muscles - e.g. sit ups, leg raises, etc. - primarily work the iliopsoas muscles of the hips, not the abdominals.
The best way is to go to a gym and work out on the machines to do exercises such as hamstring curls, leg extensions, leg presses and squats can be done without machines. But you should get instructions on how to do them properly by a professional trainor.
With exercise bands, you can work out tons of muscles. Muscles that you can work out are arm muscles, leg muscles and back muscles. With leg muscles, you can work out the thighs, and calves muscles.
The bones and muscles of the leg work together when the leg moves. The bones give the leg its structure, while the muscles hang onto the bones and allow the leg to actually move. The muscles make their movements via contractions and expansions.
Leg curls may be integrated into a workout in many ways. One way is to do leg curls as a part of a more extensive lower body workout. Another way to integrate leg curls is to alternate them with upper body reps such as tricep pulls.
The muscles used in the leg press exercise are your Quads primarily. Hamstring gets a good work out too.

the stairmaster works all of your leg muscles
Most muscles in the body have "counterparts", one pulls and your leg curls up, the other pulls and the leg straightens. They would be on opposite sides of your leg. The "biceps" are the upper arm top muscle, and the tri-ceps (I think) is the upper arm bottom muscle. They work in conjunction to let you 'curl a barbell'' or do a chin-up.
Leg muscles are deep to the skin of your leg. The skin is superficial to the muscles.
Speed training can be challenging, but it can also be fun. It involves building the muscles through such activities as squats, leg curls, and resistance running.
For the inner thigh you'd want to work the adductor muscles, which are the ones that brings your legs together, and unfortunately bicycling won't reach those particularly well. Swimming, particularly the breast stroke, or inline skating would be better options for targeting those muscles.
