The fuse block on the 2006 - 2007 Toyota Camry is underneath the dashboard on the left hand side of the steering wheel. If you look under the dash there is a rectangular cover about 12cm long and 5cm wide - pull that off and you'll find the fuses. There should be a diagram on the back of the cover to tell you which fuse is for the cigarette lighter.

Did you ever find out where the cigarette lighter fuse was located on the 98 Camry? I have a 00 Camry and im looking for my cig. lighter fuse. The fuse is in a fuse box located under the drivers side of the dashboard to the left of the steering column. If the fuse is good and the cigarette lighter still does not work, the wire attaching at the cigarette lighter itself has probably burned or broken off necessitating the lighter be changed. It's a comon problem.
If the fuse marked cig does not appear broken, go to the fuse marked powerpoint. That fuse is the culprit.
12 volts DC (nominal). It's the voltage of the battery which will vary from a low of about 11 to a high of about 14 when the engine is running.
The owners manual will show you a fuse chart for both the dash and under hood fuse/relay box.
Open the dashboard fuse panel and look for the fuse marked cig ...replace it
Change the fuse, check the wiring, change the element.
