The basin of the Atlantic ocean formed when the Americas started moving west away from Africa and Europe. There is a giant mid-ocean ridge that runs north to south in the middle of the Atlantic. This is a seafloor spreading zone where convection currents from the mantle cause the crust to split apart and move in opposite directions.
The Red Sea is an inlet of the Indian Ocean which runs between Asia and Africa. Some of the closest countries to it are: Egypt (Africa) and Israel (Asia) to the North, Sudan (Africa) to the West, Saudi Arabia to the East, and Somalia (Africa) to the South.
The Indian ocean runs through Asia (India, Indonesia etc) to Australia to East Africa (Somalia)

The Atlantic Ocean touches both North America and Africa (as well as Europe and South America). It runs from the top of the globe to the bottom, second only to the Pacific ocean in size.
The southern Atlantic Ocean is to the West of Africa. Africa is a continent in two hemispheres. The Ocean runs from the North Pole to South Pole and is the 2nd largest body of water on the planet.

The Mozambique and Benguela Currents both occur off the coast of the continent of Africa and form part of the Indian Ocean gyre which is a system of rotating ocean currents, and one of five oceanic gyres. The Mozambique current runs along the eastern coast of Africa between Africa and Madagascar, whereas the Benguela Current flows along the western coast of Africa between Namibia and the Southern African Cape.
The Namib Desert, it runs almost the entire length of the west cost of the county and is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean
Africa. It begins in southeastern Guinea and runs through Mali, Niger, on the border with Benin and through Nigeria emptying into the Atlantic Ocean at the Niger Delta.
A narrow strip of land that runs between the ocean and the mainland is called a barrier island. These islands provide protection to the mainland against erosion and storm damage.
