Mixing all of the colors together makes white light ( if you are talking about light). But if you mix all the opaque colours, i think you get black..
You would get white, because it is like the light beams are going through a crystal. The idea encapsulated here is that white light, when sent through a prism, is broken up into its constituent colors. When you reverse the process and add together the light that is broken up by a prism, the result is white light. ___________________________________________ When the primary colors of light are mixed, the outcome is white light. I don't know exactly why this happens, but I'm guessing this: You know how white light is really composed of all the colors of the rainbow? When you mix all the primary colors of the rainbow together, you get white light.
You have to mix white and green to get light green.
purple and white

light is white. if you mix the colors of the rainbow you get white. A prism separates the colors, showing a rainbow.
Light is "White" because it's a mix between all the colors of the rainbow. Each color of the rainbow has a different wave length. "White" light is a mix of ALL of the wave lengths (all the colors of the rainbow). When we see that clear, colorless mix, we call it 'White'.
white, not black. it is not paint. since light is made up of red green and blue. in the rain the "white light" from the sun gets broken up (the little water droplets acting like a prism) into the colors of the rainbow.

the 3 colors of light make......white
You have to mix white and green to get light green.
White light is formed by the joining of all the colours in the Rainbow i.e. it is a mix of all the 7 colours in the spectrum.
Paint: You cannot mix colors to make white because white is the lack of color. Light: You must mix all of the colors of the spectrum in order to create a white light.
