10-40
Any 15w 40 oil, but preferably shell as that's what dealers use
You will need to use the manual to learn how to do this. It can give you all of the step that are needed.
There is a plug on the side of the transmission, remove battery tray to access and fill until gear oil begins to come back out. Mechanics that specialize in Opel/Vauxhall say never re-use fill plug, use a new only. Torque to 22 ft/lbs

10w40 Semi Synthetic Oil
Depends on which 1.0l engine you mean. For a 1993 to 2000 Vauxhall/Opel Corsa (the A and B models) you use 10w40 semi synthetic, it takes about 3.2 litres. For the later models (C and D) I think you're looking at 5w30.

I could be wrong here but are you "kangeroo jumping" as in failing to use the clutch properly when changing gears thus the car lurches, this could be a result of a worn out clutch OR gearbox.
