Can you increace the power of your hatsan 125 air rifle?

You can increase the speed by using lighter weight pellets (Pellets come in different weights) but lighter pellets are less accurate because they are effected by crosswind. An old trick to increase the power is to put a few drops of Pellgun or RWS oil in your pellet tin and roll the pellets around in the moisture of the oil. This will lube the pellet and barrel when they are fired. DO NOT over oil the pellets. I would use caution when doing this because repeated use can damage the piston. Here's why. When the piston springs forward it compresses the air behind the pellet. The compressed air actually slows down the piston as in nears the end of the air chamber. When enough pressure is built up it fires the pellet. This back pressure prevents the piston from slamming against the end of the air chamber and damaging the piston. OIL decreases the resistance. So you can see why you don't want to do this all the time

Why would oil leak on to your air filter?

Piston rIngs are shot, time for an overhaul.

How do you make a HW57 Air Rifle more powerful?

There are several ways of making an Air rifle perform better, but most are costly. You could have an air rifle expert "TUNE" it for you. That is have the spring cylinder polishes and the spring either replaced or have it trimmed. The trigger is also another popular item to replaced. All of these can cost as much as the rifle is worth. To locate someone to "Tune" the rifle for you, try the web under "Air gun repair' or "Airgun tuning." One simple way to increase the FPS of an airgun is to put a flat thin sponge in the bottom of your pellet tin, then place a few drops of "Crosman Pellgun Oil' in the sponge. Place your pellets back in the tin and roll them around in the oily sponge. this will lubricate the pellets and they will lubricate the barrel. You will also get a faster FPS and you will notice the difference. Never use regular oil it can damage the seals. Always use Crosman Pellgun oil or RWS pellet gun oil.

Why would your 2006 Chevy 6.0 with 40000 miles have no oil pressure?

I asume that there is oil in the engine. If you do not have oil pressure the engine will be very noisey, IS IT ?? Just because the oil gauge in the dash saids no oil pressure, that is not always true. Could be a bad oil sending unit. Need to remove oil sending unit on right top back side of the intake manifold. Screew a oil pressure gauge in it's place, start engine and read, It should have no less then 6 LBS at idel, and at least 24 or more at 4000 RPM. If you do not have oil pressure for sure, Then on the very front of the engine behind the balancer is where the oil pump is. If you look at the right bottom side of the pump you will see a plug, ( Allen wrench plug ) remove it and there will be a spring and a small piston in there. Spring should not be broken and piston should fall out (Freely) If piston is stuck then get it out somehow. Replace if spring is broken or piston is stuck. It is called a oil pressure relief valve- spring and piston kit. It controls oil preassure. If all that is okay Then the oil pump is probley gone bad, REPLACE PUMP.

Can you use 3 in 1 oil or does an air rifle main spring need grease?

DO NOT use 3in1 oil, It will eventually ruin the o-ring. Only use Crosman pellgun oil or RWS airgun oil. RWS and Crosman both have a chamber lube. see the link below.

What is a transmission accumulator?

It is a small piston in the transmission with a spring on one side. It takes oil into it and slows the application of an element and has a reserve of oil under pressure to slow the release of the element.

What to lubricate plunger barrel with on a Benjamin Franklin 342 air rifle?

Can you increase the power from your air rifle?

Their are several ways to increase the power of and Air Rifle. But you will need the right tools. Polishing the air chamber will help. Remove any burrs in the slide action will help. using lighter pellets will increase the speed but not the power. Never use regular oil on an ait gun only use pellgun oil. Regular oil will eventually ruin the seals. A bigger spring will help, but make sure you rifle can handle the modification. Their are several airgun shops on the web that can modify or tune up an airgun. Check under "Airgun repair" or "Airgunsmith" on the web and you will find several.

How to get oil out my piston?

If there is oil getting to the top of the piston and burning then you have a blown head gasket or the piston rings are worn or broken. Engine must be disassembled.
