2006 build onwards 5w30 fully-synthetic long-life oil.
Using the earlier oil in a later engine could result in engine damage.
Using the earlier oil in a later engine could cause blockage of the Diesel Particulate filter.
In both the above cases repair bills run well over £1500.00p
(NOTE: UK registration numbers do not relate to the year the vehicle was actually built!)
Use of the the later oil in an earlier engine is safe.
