Depends what year - you don't tell us. All modern Ford engines, petrol and diesel, use 5w/30. Legislation is involved here. A Google search comes up with a number of articles which explain that 5w/30 is described as "fuel saving oil" (because it's thin) and that some American states require that this oil be used as it is formulated to help catalytic converters survive for many hundreds of thousands of miles - totally unnecessary in the UK as very few cars get anywhere near 100,000miles. Here you must do your own research.

Petrol or diesel? What year? All today's Ford engines, both petrol and diesel, use 5w/30 'fuel saving' oil.
Diesel fuel is often referred to as "diesel oil" or "heavy oil". Do not confuse this with "engine oil for a diesel engine" which means "lubricating oil specially formulated for use in diesel engines". My first Ford Fiesta diesel's tax disc said - "Fuel - Heavy Oil". They've now realised that this term is anachronistic, and my latest tax disc reads "Fuel - Diesel". To be pedantic - Diesel fuel is an oil - Petrol is a spirit.
Depends on the engine. A variety of different petrol engines and a diesel option were fitted to the Fiesta Mk6. All have different filters.
Normally a sign of a coolant leak in the oil cooler. Replace ASAP.
On the Diesel Fiesta you need the 5W-30 Ford Motorcraft oil, or any other good brand of fully synthetic motor oil with the 5W-30 specs. You need the correct filter for your model of diesel engine Fiesta. The old 1.8 straight diesel used a metal cannister filter, whilst the later Tdci Duratorq engines have a paper element filter in a plastic housing (looks like a bomb or a fat plastic bottle with a hexagon cap) on the side of the engine block.
Ford recommend 5w/30 for all their latest petrol and diesel engines.
My Mk3 fiesta did not.
Depends on the year or type of diesel engine. The older engines had a cannister filter whilst the latest Tdci has a replaceable paper element.
