The manufacturer of the 1995 Honda Accord recommends 10W-30 weight motor oil. A heavier motor oil can be used in extreme climates.
Well I have a 95 Honda accord ex and it gets to be a pain. Your oil pan is directly above your exhaust pipe (straight pipe/catalytic converter). So you will need enough room to remove the pipe and drop the pan. First you'll have to drain the oil! By the way, keep inventory of your oil pan screws, if you lose one they're hard to find, and your car will leak oil badly.
I would recommend 5w-30
It just means it need an oil change and tune up. It does not monitor any engine systems and is only a reminder. Reset it at any time you please unless you actually use it as a reminder for maintenance. It also means that you have drivin your Honda for 5,000 miles :) I own a 1997 Honda Accord and my indicator light just turned RED but it was do to the fact that I slammed into someone and I guess the impact made the light come on but for the most part you can reset the indicator by putting your key in the slot next to the indicator if you have oneOr try to hold down the "Trip" button so it resets and this should work if it doesn't then get an oil change and a tune up and that should work :)
Gregory, to get at that drain bolt you have to get under your car. It is located slightly above the oil filter. I am planning on changing my radiator and will be doing this as well. Good luck.
most b-series engines from Honda only needs about + - 4 quarts.
