You go up to one of them and say "If I ask the other gatekeeper 'are you honest, will he tell me that you are honest?" If you are talking to the honest gatekeeper, his answer will be 'no'. If you are talking to the dishonest gatekeeper, his answer will be 'yes'. So, you know which is honest after asking the one question. Or you could ask one of the gatekeepers what the other person would say. If you ask the honest he'd say to go the wrong way because that's what the other guy would say. If you asked the dishonest he'd lie and say the wrong way too so you just go the opposite way that they say.
