This question is impossible to answer without more information, since almost every idea or theory or opinion has changed at one time or other. For example, the opinion about slavery used to be positive among presidents and prime ministers in the early 1800s; but I doubt that any leader today would think slavery is okay. Similarly, opinions have changed about whether to trust science or to rely on religion; and opinions are also different when it comes to interracial marriage, women's role in society, whether a country should have one official religion, whether a monarchy is better than a democracy, etc. In fact, most opinions are quite different today from what people believed 150 or 350 or 1000 years ago. If you can narrow down your question some more, I can better answer it.

Attitudes towards societal issues such as same-sex marriage and marijuana legalization have shifted significantly over time. Views on certain medical treatments, like bloodletting or lobotomies, have also evolved as scientific understanding has advanced. Additionally, perceptions of certain historical figures or events may have been reevaluated as new evidence or perspectives come to light.
