The firing order on the head is 1-2-3-4 starting from the driver side. On the distributor it should go 1-3-4-2. I'm not really sure where the number one on the distributor cap is. Looking at the distributor from the passenger side, it should be the the top left or bottom left.
It's a distributor-less ignition system, so you're going to be looking for a long time in order to find it!
Distributor cap has 4 wires on the passenger side and 3 wires on the drivers side. Drivers side from front to back should be 3,1,5. Passenger side is 2,4,6, and then the coil wire is at the back closest to the firewall.
The 1996 VW Polo distributor wire order is 1-3-4-2. The number one spot should be marked on the distributor cap.
when standing behind the car looking at the engine the number one cylinder is on the front, passenger side. rear passenger is two. three is front driver side and four is rear driver. on the distributor number one should be the closest one to you almost on the rear passenger side if you will. the order continues counterclockwise from there. this is hard to determine unless your timing is fairly accurate. the firing order is 1432
You need to know the firing order of the engine. Answer 2 The same as the firing order - 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. #1 is toward the front of the distributor and slightly to the left (passenger's side). All small block and big block Chevys have the same firing order except for certain marine engines and 1 or 2 oddballs. (BTW - distributor rotation is clockwise)
18436572 1 is drivers side front and 2 is passenger side front. direction is clockwise on distributor cap.
The firing order is simply 1,2,3,4,5,6 the distributor rotates counter clockwise, and the number one cylander is the rear extreme right of the car (passenger side).
The firing order should be 1-6-5-4-3-2.
Can't post a diagram but : your 3.0 L firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 ) the distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE the distributor cap is installed with the marked # 1 position facing towards the firewall and slightly towards the passenger side your engine cylinders are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 on passenger side from front to back and 4 , 5 , 6 on drivers side of engine from front to back
You really should get a repair manual for your car. The firing order for 1988 and later 4.3 liter V6 engines is 1-6-5-4-3-2, number one is driver's side front on the distributor and rotation is clockwise. Number one cylinder on the engine is driver's side front, number two is passenger side front and the rest follow the same pattern.
Firing Orders; (4.6L - 5.4L) Firewall (Passenger Side) 4 * 8 (Drivers Side) (Passenger Side) 3 * 7 (Drivers Side) (Passenger Side) 2 * 6 (Drivers Side) (Passenger Side) 1 * 5 (Drivers Side) Radiator
