The Korean War , or (AKA "The Forgotten War") It was being fought until 1953. I hope this helps you.
The Korean War was practically a conventional WWII fight from day one, then it transitioned into a WWI fight...equipped with stale-mated trenches and the whole works...ultimately even ending like WWI did; with an armistice. WWI, WWII, and the Korean War (for the US) even lasted about same times: 3 years (one year for the US during WWI). Vietnam grew like a cancer and lasted 5 times longer than the Korean War...AND unlike the Korean War...Vietnam was a communist victory!
No.Russia only sent advisers to help North Korea.
