Heart, Liver, Brain, Kidney

You can live off of only 1 lung or kidney and thanks to advanced medical technology a person can live with many jeopardized organs. However, the first 3 are imperative!

Actually - you can live without the Pancreas but you have to take Insulin for the rest of your life. It is sometimes removed if cancerous.

Yes, but I included it because the prognosis is exceptionally poor. It's not just insulin but glucagon, somatostatin, and all the exocrine digestive enzymes.

The only organs you CAN live without are:

-1 of your kidneys (providing the other has a good function)

-Thyroid (if you get thyroid replacement hormones)

-Testes/Ovaries

-Thymus

-Spleen (provided you get certain vaccinations)
