Well usually puffers are kept in species tanks but puffers can tolerate corys or smaller plecos but only with some puffers e.g amazon puffer or pygmy puffer or figure of 8 puffer wheras a congo puffer will eat pretty much any other fish in its tank .... Also puffers are fin nippers so no long fined fish or fantailed fish
Most Puffer Fish are compatible with fish around the same size of the Puffer Fish. If you have a fish a lot bigger, or smaller than the puffer, it has a lower chance of being "nice" to the other fish.
yea it ate all my other fish. put them in a separate tank with some other puffer fish's roughly the same size. :)
no
There are some species of Puffer fish that can live in fresh water or sea water (Marine). The only naturally evolved Parrot fish is a marine fish. The thing that is 'called' a "parrot fish" that lives in fresh water is a man (laboratory) made species that doesn't even have a proper Taxonomic name. It could live with any species of Puffer fish that can live in fresh water but it may be bitten by the puffer fish.
yes
same reason why americans eat burgers and pizza
Of course they can, fish can live with any other fish. Every body knows that!
Yes
The short answer is all of them. The one you see for sale in aquarium store should be in brackish water, which is a mixture of ocean and fresh water. More like marsh water. If you see them in "Pet$mart" remind them that that puffer fish need to be in brackish water and not the same water that all the other fish are swimming in at the store. As far as I know, there is no variety of classic puffer fish that lives in pure fresh water.
No. Glo fish are freshwater organisms and lobsters are saltwater organisms. And if they could live in the same water, one eats the other.
Seahorses cannot live with other types of fish because seahorses are slow feeders and can't get their share of food before the other fish eat it all. Seahorses can live with other seahorses, though!
Well, you gotta chose fish that live in the same conditions as the goldfish such as Koi. You could also do some researching and find out too.
