Prometheus saved man for last but his brother had already given the best gifts to all the other animals. Man could think but was at a great disadvantage...which is why Prometheus stole and gave fire to man. For taking fire from the gods and giving it to man, Prometheus was chained to a rock where a great bird ate his liver each day. Prometheus would heal over night so that the punishment started again each day.
