You can bypass your 1988 Buick Skylark heater core by removing the heater core water supply hoses. There will be to water hoses. Connect the water hoses to each other.
One white goes to the negative side of the coil and the other to ground.
A Buick Skylark, I think. Don't know what year or trim but it's a 4-door sedan. However, it may in fact be a Ford Taurus or other model as Mulder and Scully most commonly drive a Ford throughout the series.
Any other window from a 1975-79 Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile Omega or Pontiac Ventura/Phoenix 2 door would work
Most likely other GM cars with a similar body style, like a Chevy Impala or an Oldsmobile Cutlass.

No other Chevrolet doors will interchange with Celebrity doors. Some other "A" body doors may fit but the lines and mouldings don't line up with the Celebrity body lines. I understand that Pontiac 6000 doors come the closest.
I had that problem a couple of times. It could be a leak in the PCV pipe. That's what caused mine to conk-out on turns. It might be some other vacuum leak too.

Chevy 350 is just what we call that motor because Chevy is the most popular of the gm lines, but really its a GM 350. Having said that, a Buick, Pontiac, Chevy, or Oldsmobile motor are the same motor for the most part. There are som exceptions with the Cadillac motors but that's an other story. should be smoothe sailing for you.
You probably need coolant NOW. Don't run the car with a hot engine. Change that thermostat while you're at it. Take it to Midas or any other place that changes coolant professionally.
