Yahoo! Answers is also a good site, other than WikiAnswers. But I recommend WikiAnswers over Yahoo! Answers. WikiAnswers is the best Q&A site and it has the best community.

Yahoo! Answers isn't always correct, as well, and you cannot change the answers or spellings on there. On WikiAnswers, you can edit about everything to make the site better. Yahoo! Answers you can't, and it is a poor Q&A site.

Some more Q&A sites, although not nearly as productive, attractive, growing, and fantastic as WikiAnswers, are Mahalo Answers and LinkedIn Answers.

WikiAnswers is similar to Answers. There is also Yahooanswers. Wikepedia is also useful.

Because they dont trust other sites to give them correct infomation.

WikiAnswers (wiki.answers.com) and Answers (answers.com) do not give viruses, and numerous other sites do not give viruses, either.

I get my answers from the series or video game sites, depending on the question.

WikiAnswers is one of the top Q&A sites on the Internet, but it is not necessarily the most popular. WikiAnswers' top competitor is Yahoo answers, but neither website has a clear advantage. Some other Q&A sites include Quora and Aardvark.

There are many websites similar to WikiAnswers. Quora is very similar to WikiAnswers. It has more features than WikiAnswers, but not as large of a user base. Aardvark is a Q&A service that is designed to get answers fast and it works well, but you can't search for questions on it that have already been answered. Yahoo answers is also like WikiAnswers, except it allows people to post separate answers to questions rather than have everyone edit one unified answer. Absolutely not. You could get your answers from libraries, from your mom, from reference books, from other sites (including other answer sites), from encyclopedias, from your doctor, from a friend, from the news, from politicians, from the Bible, from your significant other, or from an imaginary voice in your head... just to name a few.

No - there are many other bulletin boards and similar sites on a wide variety of topics.

It's not. Yahoo! answers is the best cos u can explain your question more

You can ask them on answers sites, like WikiAnswers.

They are called Question and Answer sites. Some sort-of similar ones are Yahoo Answers or Ask.com.

Answers that are directly copied from Wikipedia or other sites are considered plagiarism. WikiAnswers does not tolerate plagiarism as it not in accordance with WikiAnswers plagiarism policy. If you find a plagiarized answer, contact a WikiAnswers supervisor, or report it in the Community Forum.

Yes, there are. Check for mobile versions of sites like Yahoo Answers, Quora, and others.

WikiAnswers is a real web site. The answers are provided by the users. While most people attempt to provide good answers, there are those that abuse the site and post nonsense and falsehoods. As in all web sites, users should validate information against other sources.

(Yahoo Answers displays more than one answer and the contributor of each answer.) WikiAnswers is NOT Yahoo Answers, they are two completely different sites with different aims and reliability. Yahoo Answers is mainly a community site to air varying input on a range of topics, not provide the direct and specific answer to a question. For opinion answers, there are many sites. For factual or experience-derived answers, there are comparatively few with the scope of WikiAnswers.

I would suggest Q & A sites such as...Yahoo!Yahoo! AnswersYou TubeWikipediaAnswers.com

Only on WikiAnswers can you edit the information to create one comprehensive answer. Yahoo Answers, Stack Exchange and Quora are sites where they look for best answers. Askville and General Opinions are more discussion style answers.

There are so many sites similar to wiki answers that provide answers to all our queries.AnswerbagWeb answersYahoo answersask villeaskQuoraLinkedIn answers

NOTE: The website you are presently viewing is WikiAnswers, NOT Wikipedia. They are two different sites. WikiAnswers is a question and answer site. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia. Both are "wikis", which means they are human-edited. Info should never be copied word for word from other sites. This answer depends on the user and their personal integrity.

Besides WikiAnswers, there are many Q&A sites out there. Quora is one that is very similar to WikiAnswers. It has more features than WikiAnswers, but not as large of a user base. Aardvark is a Q&A service that is designed to get answers fast and it works well, but you can't search for questions on it that have already been answered. Yahoo answers is another Q&A site like WikiAnswers, except it allows people to post separate answers to questions rather than have everyone edit one unified answer.

WikiAnswers is a fantastic site and, without a doubt, the best around when it comes to Q&A sites. WikiAnswers, following the "Wiki Way," allows anyone and everyone to answer a question. That allows numerous answers to one question, and with a vast amount of knowledgeable people out there, that question ends up getting answered with expert analysis. The format is above and beyond other Q&A sites, as well. While other sites involve mazes to answer a question, WikiAnswers provides a simple and easy way to answer, ask, or edit a question. Anyone can contribute at any time!

No, all of the Wiki sites are not owned by one company. For example, WikiAnswers is owned by the Answers Corp. (answers.com), while Wiktionary is owned by Wikipedia.

That will depend on the question. WikiAnswers is one site that you can find answers for questions on. There are also many sites that specialise in particular subjects where you can ask questions and get answers.
