What did Eleanor want her husband Franklin Roosevelt to do after he was stricken with polio How did her life change because of her husbands illness?

this exact same question is on my worksheet for the story of Eleanor Roosevelt. anyways, Eleanor wanted her husband not to give up and to keep aiming for his goals despite the fact that he had the disease. She mainly want Franklin to run for president because that's all what Franklin wanted before the disease. She encouraged him ( unlike his mother who told him to not run for president because of his illness) to run for president and he did. i do not know the answer to the other part of the question though. sorry

What did Theodore Roosevelt write concerning the Duke of York?

Theodore Roosevelt's colonial ancestors had been Dutch patroon and held valuable farmland in the Hudson Valley in New York. His family happened to continue to do well when New York became part of the British colonies on the Atlantic coast. Roosevelt's family, however, most likely would have been wealthier had the Duke of York not caused the Dutch to leave in 1664. Roosevelt would later write that the Duke of York was a dull leader and not worth renaming New Amsterdam to New York.
