Sacral vertebrae
Sacrum
Spinal column.
There isextension of brain in neck, thorax and abdomen in what is called as vertebral column. You have seven cervical vertebrae, twelve thoracic vertebrae and five lumber vertebrae fallowed by sacrum. In between them, you have inter-vertebral disc and various ligaments. Which keep them in position. In the hollow part of these vertebrae, there is spinal cord. It extends to the lower border of second lumber vertebrae. Down to it, there is bundle of nerves called as cauda-equina.
The vetebrae of the lower back are called lumbar vertebrae. Lower than that, the vertebrae are fused together in the sacrum, and the lowest part of the spine is the tailbone or coccyx.
The thoracic vertebrae is very important to the human body as it is the middle segment of the vertebral column. Important structures of the thoracic spine are bones and joints, nerves, connective tissues, muscles and spinal segment.
Unfortunately there is no photograph attached. However, it would be easy for anyone trained to tell which spinal column can be seen considering they would know the different characteristics that everyday people are unaware of.
Spinal cord is also called vertebral column in vertebrates (humans and mammals.) It is made up of 33 vertebrae. Starting from top most 7 vertebrae makes cervical column, then 12 vertebrae makes thoracic column, then 5 vertebrae makes lumbar column. In the last part of pelvis, the sacral column has 9 fused vertebrae and a tailed portion of the tapering spinal cord is called coccygeal vertebra
The part of the body that has vertebrae is the spine. The spinal column consists of 33 vertebrae which provides support to the body and protects the spinal cord.

The sacrum is both the mechanical weight bearing base of the spinal column and the fused central posterior section of the pelvic girdel. The is defined as, one of three bones (sacrum and two pelvic bones) that make up the pelvic ring; consists of five fused sacral vertebrae.

The spinal column, a series of vertebrae composed of bone, protects a part of the nervous system known as the spinal cord. The spinal cord is a bundle of nerves that helps to carry messages to various parts of the body.
The spine is made up of the verteral column (the boney part) and the spinal chord(the nervous part). The vertebral column is made up of 33 individual bones called vertebrae.
There are 33 vertebrae in the spinal cord of a human being. They are broadly categorized into 5 areas. They are called the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum & coccyx vertebra. The upper 3 areas have a total of 24 vertebrae, which includes 7 cervical vertebrae, 12 thoracic vertebrae & 5 lumbar vertebrae. Sometimes the lumbar region, may have an additional vertebra, it does happen - but it is rare. 5 vertebrae are fused together to form the sacrum & 3 vertebrae form the end of the spinal column which is the coccyx.
The spine (vertebral column, spinal column, backbone) is made up of small vertebrae stacked on top of each other.
No. The femur is part of your appendicular skeleton. Your axial skeleton consists of your skull, spinal vertebrae, ribs and sternum.
