Best Answer

The parts are:

Raspberry Pi (either model B or the latest model B+);

SD card to carry the operating system (a NOOBS SD is recommended for beginners);

Ethernet cable or USB wifi dongle;

USB keyboard and USB mouse (unless you intend to use SSH and connect to the RPI from a main computer on your LAN (local Area Network) in which case you don't need a keyboard and mouse attached constantly to the RPi);

HDMI to HDMI cable to connect to a monitor or TV (an HDMI to DVI adaptor may be needed depending on the monitor or TV port available);

There are video and audio ports (model B+ has a single port combining video and audio);

Power supple: AC to Micro USB 5 V 700 mA

Can you install more than 1 operating system in sd card for raspberry pi 3?

The program that lets you do this is called New Out Of Box Software (NOOBS). NOOBS is developed by Raspberry Pi so it is perfectly safe to use. This tool makes the setup of Raspberry Pi extremely simple and easy. To do this you will need a 4GB SD Card or larger.Step 1: Download NOOBS from the Raspberry Pi website.Step 2: Unzip the files and then transfer them to the SD Card. Every operating system you install will use more memory space in your SD Card.Step 3: After copying to files to the SD Card insert your SD Card into your Raspberry Pi. You need to have the screen, mouse, and keyboard hooked up along with a power supply.Step 4: Once the Raspberry Pi powers up the NOOBS installation screen will show. Choose the operating systems you want to download by checking the boxes on the left side of the screen.Step 5: Click the install and your installation will begin.You can switch between operating systems by holding down Shift when the Raspberry Pi starts booting up.Note: You will lose everything you currently have in this process. You can not add an operating system whenever you want. You will need to restore your entire device and start from the NOOBS Installation screen again.
