I use Rock Auto for hard to find parts. I am surprised at the selection of parts and the resonable prices they offer.
flip the stock spindels but you only get a couple of inches.. if you want more.. then you gotta get aftermarket stuff.
Being I own a 87 b2200 se5 with a manual 5spd myself .The chiltons manual states for the 2.0 engine however the difference should not matter unless I am wrong and the gear ratio is 3.31:1.If this is really in question check with your local Mazda dealer the parts department can defenitely tell you what it is.I just do not have any specs beyond the basic haynes or chiltons I own.
Parts from a Chevy truck will not interchange with a Ford trucks parts.
Yes parts are interchangeable between the years listed.I will tell you the b series from 86-93 are all alike and share the same body parts and even the engines with exception to the b2600 and b2600I.The bigger engines share very little and with the 4x4 models the hoods, are different but fit,and fenders fit but are bubbled out because of tires and stance.Interior pieces fit overall aside from specifics like a cabplus versus standard on certain items as well. The dash is the same, heater controls, instrument cluster some vary because some trucks do not have a tach or clock.Mazda made alot of items duplicate on all models but colors, cab size things varied. So all body parts work, fenders, doors, tail gate so you get the idea.
I think that, only former ford ranger (earlier 80s) could be compatible with that engine. unfortunetly, the old mazdas fall in parts even if the engine still runs good.
The intake & exhaust manifold must be removed, then the head is remove. Head inspected for cracks and warpage, all gaskets replaced and all parts reinstalled.
Since the Mazda B3000 is based on the Ford design the tranny should fit without any modifications. They are basically the same. All parts should interchange.
