A June 2012 Public Policy Polling survey showed that 39% of respondents believe that same-sex marriage should be legal. 48% opposed it.

According to a November 2011 Public Policy Polling survey, 29% supported same-sex marriage and 35% supported civil unions. 33% of respondents in Pennsylvania opposed all legal recognition of same-sex relationships. 1% were undecided.
