A widely accepted theory is that young children under a certain age (of which the age varies between children) can see ghosts more readily than adults as they tend to be more openly acceptable to the idea of ghosts being real. As they grow older, they tend to stop seeing ghosts because they 1) focus more on complex manners such as school, work, and family, and 2) they learn about other people's perceptions of whether ghosts exist. Adults that tend to see ghosts have either seen them as kids and so have kept their minds open whilst growing up or have been receptive to a ghosts energy or presence.
What kind of presence? There are no such thing as ghosts peoples!
It is the nature of ghosts that they do not appear in response to human summoning. Many ghosts do not seem to be aware of the presence of living persons at all.
I believe that toddlers have a higher sensitivity to ghosts than adults do, like animals.
True scientists are not fool to believe in ghosts.
Because there are not enough proof to that.
Adults may belive in ghosts and the reason it's mostly kids is because they let their imagination take over their mind in some ways and it may be the same reason for adults.
About 59% of the earth's population actually believes in ghosts.

There is no mathematical proof for the existence of ghosts. It is a state of subconscious mind during which fear,over-reaction by way of reading books on ghosts etc. play an important role in experiencing the presence of ghosts. Neither the existence of ghosts or God can be proved mathematically.Specially the situation like worn-out house, with little or no light create enough ambience for feeling the presence of ghosts. The presence of Atman and theory of rebirth as propagated in Hinduism, can at best the subject matter of religious faith and no scientific proof has been established so far. The presence of Ieatis in Tibet even with photographs published in science journals does not provide enough mathematical proof for the existence of ghosts. Those with weak heart or suffering from mental problems experience ghost-like presence that have no mathematical basis at all.
The answer is actually 37%. Since 2007, more people have started to believe in ghosts.
