hi there,
hamsters are quite easy animals to look after, all you have to do for them is stroke them and tame them and regularly clean out there cage (once a week), and change their water daily.
source, my brain, ( i have a hamster)
on the other hand degus can be hard work so unless you have the time and patience and SPACE (the cages are massive) then go for a 'lil' furry friend :)
good luck
I have seasonal allergies and a hamster. I used to keep my hamster in the basement and now she is in my room, but there isn't really much of a difference. so no i don't think that a hamster would make things worse, but if you are still unsure don't keep the hamster in your room
I would take it to the vet as soon as possible.
no hamsters are not pests otherwise if they were pests you would not be able to keep them as pets
It's possible, but most likely no. If your other hamster died, then play with it, and keep it happy and not lonely. Or you can clean out the cage, and then buy another hamster for her/him to play with. Then she will be happy, and the other one she would forget about. It's possible, but most likely no. Please explain what you mean. If you are worried about how they would get along together the best advice would be to keep the hamster in a safe secure place where it would not be able to escape, and your dog would not be able to get to.
That depends whether you mean a puppy as in a young dog, or a puppy as in a baby hamster as they are also called puppies.
i wouldnt give cucumber to a hamster as its very watery and can give your hamster dihareaa
Keep them separated a much as possible. Putting them together only for feeding. Separate cages would be optimal.
I have read that a female hamster's hormones kick in every couple of days. This makes them very mean weekly. If I were you I would go with a male. You are much safer on getting a nicer hamster if you get a male. I would recommend a Syrian hamster. They are the nicest of all the hamster breeds. DO NOT keep them in the same cage. Syrian hamsters DO NOT get along with their own breed!!
Keep it there.
either keep her by herself or get a new pair. they need to be raised together otherwise there may be fighting
when a hamster has babies you should sale them because if you keep them there would be more and more hamsters to deal with and then end up with cages full of them so i recammened you to sale them.
