well there are about Over 500 mammals, 175 lizards and over 300 other reptiles species, and one third of the world's birds live in the amazon rain forest. And there are tons of plants! It would be kinda hard to name them all but here are a couple, the sloth, the toucan, also many different types of parrots.

There's many plants. Anywhere from White Trillium, Coca, Foxglove to Esat that endangered or even Butter Cups. Mmmmmm! There's also Opium Poppy the was used as a drug in the 1900 and still is today! Oh there's Cinchona and Castor Beans as well.
