get an A/T radiator , much cheaper and way easier to find.
measure core size, height and width,
then measure nipples sizes diameter.
order by year, door count , motor displaceent , valve count and 4wd or not and the above.
you an get a real brass rad, for same price or less then an aluminum one.
You replace the radiator
replace the radiator, they are integrated.
I had a similar problem and ended up replacing both the lines and the radiator.
the problem you arehaving isn't with the transmission its with your radiator it has a crack in the side where transmission lines hook to you need a new radiator and id also do a complete transmission flush to explain whats it is your coolant is mixing with the transmission fluid in the radiator replace your radiator and you problems are gone after you flush the transmission that is id do that before i put the new radiator in if i was you
if you are asking about the cooling lines for the transmission that connect to the radiator, its easy. first disconnect the lines from the radiator (2 lines, usually on the bottom opposite the radiator outlet) then disconnect the lines from the transmission. remove the brackets holding them on, then remove.
Don't drive it! Have it towed to a garage that can flush the system, replace the radiator and hope that the transmission is not damaged.
The transmission cooler is built into the radiator, and the tubes on the cooler are leaking Trans. fluid into the engine coolant. Need to replace radiator.
Cross contamination of transmission fluid within the radiator. Replace the radiator.
You will have to replace the radiator, the cooler is not repairable.
Take off the line and put the new one on
Replace radiator ASAP. And flush tranny fluid.
The transmission oil cooler built into the radiator has gone bad. There is a good chance engine coolant is also getting into the transmission. This is a serious problem. Do not drive the car any further. Have it towed to a garage to replace the radiator and flush both the cooling system and the transmission. Good luck.
