how do you get the limited-slip rear end on a 1990 Chevy blazer k-5 apart
There should be a tag under one of the bolts on the cover of the rear end. If it is not there you might be able to look on the Build tag somewhere in the Blazer. I think it is on the door or in the glove box. If you can not find it there you can take the VIN number to your local Chevrolet dealer and the parts department can look it up for you. If you are looking for a replacement rear end, a good salvage yard can do the same thing for you.
It is called a corporate 9.25. Ratio could be 3.55, or 4.10
Well, that's kind of a 'hit and miss' question if you will. There should be a metal tag attached to the outside of the rear differential cover. Remove it and take it to a Chevy dealer and they could definitely tell you what the gear ratio is.
