It should be behind the rear vent.
Depends if it is a 6 lug or 8 lug wheel. On is a LD or heavy half and the other is a real 2500.It depends on what rear gear ratio and what motor it has. Most case a 1993 8 lug 2500 is rated to tow 10,000 lbs
As I recall it is 12,800#.
The unit is over the back door, The pipes/tubes for both A/C and heat run from the front of the van along the underside of the body on the frame . The A/C evaporator for the rear unit is located at the rear of the back drivers side wheel . If it's a conversion Van there will be a simple piece of carpet over it.
AnswerI BELEIVE THEY ARE JUST THE DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASS"S LIKE MAX. LOAD WEIGHTS THAT THE VEHICLE IS RECOMENDED TO HANDLE 1500=half ton 2500=3 quarter ton 3500=1 tonI have a Vandura 2500, it means a half ton with a three quarter ton rating, stronger rear springs, lower rear end ratio,& bigger engine....I do believe that the 1500 has a shorter body than the 2500 and 3500. Also engine sizes, I believe that the 1500 typically comes with a straight 6, the 2500 with a 350 v8 and the 3500 with either a 7.4v8 or a diesel.*My 93' G2500 vandura has a 1 ton frame w/ 3/4 ton brakes.*
That All depends on the motor and rear-end and if it is a 4x4 and ext cab or not . It should tell you in the glove box.
there are actually 3 fuses ( that i have found) 2 are in the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering column marked ac and auxilary ac/heat. my 1993 g3500 vandura also has an inline 20 amp fuse wired in between the fuse panel and the rear blower motor switch.

Begin by removing the tire and wheel from your 1993 GMC. Remove the brake spring and the brake caliper. The brake shoes will come off. Reverse the process to install your new brake shoes.
You can switch the rear end from a Chevy 1500 with a Chevy 2500 rear end with minimal effort. Both have similar components but the 2500 offers increased durability.
