Fossil Fuels --> Hydro-Carbon chains formed from decaying organic matter (animal & plants)

When you burn fossil fuels the relating output is HEAT + WASTE GASES. The waste gases can be of several type depending on the hydro-carbon.

Most common waste gases when you burn fossil fuels are carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Water Vapor, NOx, SOx emissions.

Carbon Dioxide, Water Vapor, Nitrous Oxides are listed as greenhouse gases along with methane & ozone.

Greenhouse gases = gases that affect our climate on earth (the listed are the ones that we know will affect us as far as now)

So the final relation is burning of fossil fuels increases the amount of green house gases in atmosphere, especially Carbon-Dioxide, Water Vapor & NOx.

What is the difference between the Greenhouse Effect and fossil fuels?

Fossil fuels are non-renewable energy sources that can be burned to get energy. The Greenhouse Effect is, in part, the result of burning fossil fuels. In this example, fossil fuels would be a causative agent that creates an effect on the environment, specifically, the Earth's atmosphere.

How is the Greenhouse effect linked to the burning of fossil fuels?

Burning fossil fuels releases long-hidden carbon dioxide into the other greenhouse gases overloading the greenhouse effect.

What are some facts about fossil fuels?

Fossil Fuels are basically the three main things: Coal, Oil, and Natural gas. When these fossil fuels are burned they create pollution and add to the Greenhouse effect.Fossil fuels are also known as Greenhouse gases. The Greenhouse effect is caused by fossil fuels and what happens is basically heat is trapped in our Earths atmosphere causing global warming.

What is the effects of burning fossil fuels?

greenhouse gases

What fuel produces greenhouse gasses?

fossil fuels

How are fossil fuels and forrests linked to the greenhouse effect?

when you burn fossil fuels you get greenhouse gasses but that causes global warming so that causes two damages to the earth and enviorment.

What type of combustion fuels produces to the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide?

Fossil fuels

What is the relationship between burning of fossil fuels and carbon dioxide?

Burning fossil fuels (combustion) releases carbon dioxide. As carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, presently contributing to global warming, this is why the world is moving away from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

The greenhouse effect can be enhanced by your use of fossil fuels?

true

which describes the burning of fossil fuels?

Burning fossil fuels contributes to climate change and are nonrenewable.

What is the relationship between Power Plants and Greenhouse gases?

Power plants are usually powered by fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). The burning of fossil fuels in industry, transport and the generation of electricity emits carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas. So there is a direct relationship.

How can you burn fossil fuels in a way that you good for the environment?

You cant, once fossil fuels is burned, the atoms in the fuel is split and produces greenhouse gases
