Ceremonies: Mummification, opening of the mouth (supposedly allowing mummies to talk, speak, hear, etc.)...as for gods, Anubis, god of mummification and embalming, and Osiris, god of the dead. That's all the main gods, at least....
Lots of Gods are associated with the passage of death, not just the most famous ones, but different periods in Egyptian history give different significance to each.
Many Gods help, guide and judge the dead on their passage to the next life (or to destruction).
Osiris - Lord of the afterlife, the most primary God beyond death.
Anubis - Opener of ways, (opener of the mouth, and of the gates)
Wepwawet - Opener of ways, (the scout/messenger)
Horus - Who sometimes guides the soul through the gates.
Thoth - Scribe who records deeds and misdeeds.
Ammut - Devourer of the heart if it is found to be guilty/impure.
Ma'at - Judgement (scales upon which your heart/deeds are weighed.
Most Gods take part in the death and passage of the body/soul.
For good reference see the 'Book of Going Forth by Day'.
